The Providence Cup MARCHING BAND COMPETITION

Welcome to the official web site of the 2009 Providence Cup! 

This year, our competition will take place on Saturday, October 3rd in beautiful Charlotte North Carolina.   

The Providence Cup has quickly become one of the premier Marching Band Competitions in North Carolina. Our commitment to a renowned judging panel, and top notch facilities ensure your group the best experience possible.  NEW THIS YEAR!  Providence has a huge JUMBOTRON which will allow you and your fans to enjoy live video coverage of you band.  Everyone can now enjoy a sky-high view of your bands performance regardless of their seat.

The Providence Cup is a morning competition.  We are coordinating with nearby Butler High School, which is hosting an evening competition, to afford interested bands the opportunity to participate in both contests!  Providence High School will provide food and indoor facilities for your band to relax between events.   

Whether you are a spectator, music student, sponsor or just someone who loves to see a great music arts competition, don't miss the 2009 Providence Cup on Saturday, October 3, 2009.
