Need more information?  Have questions?  Band Booster Board members will be available to help in the mall on Monday, April 27 from 6-8 PM, and Thursday, April 30 from 6-7:30 PM.

Congratulations to our students who auditioned for spots in the Western Regional Orchestra. All of our winds and percussion students (Iris Chong, Joseph Kim, Aaron Zhang, Olivia Lane, Richie Lane) who auditioned earned a spot. Congratulations to Seth Trump on earning a spot in the UNCG 9-10 Honor Band. Congratulations to Ashley Behymer, Steven Caughran, Emma Nussman, Chris Song, Jared Wells, and Charby Xu, on being selected for a spot in the University of South Carolina Band Clinic.

Congratulations to all of the students from Providence who auditioned for a spot in this year's NC South Central District All-District Band. Of the 32 students from PHS who auditioned, seventeen earned a spot. In addition another five are alternates. Of those seventeen, seven placed high enough to be eligible to audition for All-State Band. Congratulations for representing our school and band program with such high levels of excellence.

Congratulations to Steven Caughran (Trombone), Sam Rohed (Trombone), and Charby Xu (Bass Clarinet) for being selected to participate in the Winthrop University Honor band in November. 

The Providence Bands  Annual Fruit and Pecan Sale is now underway. Place your orders by November 7 for delivery the week of December 14th. (Note:  If you do not order through a student, you must pick up your order at the PHS Cafeteria on Saturday., December 12)

We are excited to kick off the 2014 school year with Band Camp for our Pride of Providence Marching Band beginning Monday August 4.
